The waters saw You, God,
The waters saw You and writhed;
The very depths were convulsed.
The clouds poured down water,
The heavens resounded with thunder;
Your arrows flashed back and forth.
Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind,
Your lightning lit up the world;
The earth trembled and quaked.
Your path led through the sea,
Your way through the mighty waters,
Though Your footprints were not seen.
The wind is whistling through the sliding glass door… The seed pods from the tree outback are being thrown against it… they keep knocking but I’m not letting them in.
The water is rising from Hurricane Matthew in the street out front and in the pond out back.
Still… God hold the boundaries.
–11:00pm est– Went out to check the river…
Time to move the cars…
Put the car in the flower bed… the SUV has it’s back wheels in the saturated lawn… Thankful for front wheel drive. My neighbor’s whole drive way is under water.
Praying that trucks stay away from the street, they make wakes that do damage.
Praising God that the house is dry and we are safe.
His protection is never ending!
It’s still rising…
This is up in the yard.
Lord, please keep the trucks and their wakes away.
And Morning comes…
The water rose to touch the tree last night… THANKFUL it is already starting to recede!
The water in front withdrew a couple of feet already.
At its height, it was a couple feet from the kitchen wall.
SO THANKFUL! God Holds the Boundaries!!
